I sat down with both the girls and asked them to tell me everything they love about their Daddy. I typed it into Wordle and then the girls decided on how they wanted the finished word cloud to look.
We glued together a frame or craft sticks and then put a photo of them together and the printed Father’s Day Wordle inside. I think it would be a great reminder for hubby to look at everyday in his office. Here’s all you have to do:
- Go to Wordle.net and enter in your words.
- Please note that every word is treated as a singular word. If you want to keep words together (such as a phrase, like “I love you”), you’ll need to enter a tilde (~) in between them. (I~love~you).
- once you have all your words added, click “GO”
- Now you’ll see your Word Cloud. Use the Font, Color, and Layout menus to change it around until you like it.
- Word clouds cannot be saved as a jpg, pdf, gif, etc. So, you’ll need to either PRINT your finished copy and/or take a Screenshot of the Wordle and then open it up in Paint or Photoshop, etc. Then you can save it and resize it.
